Connect Ericsson-LG iPECS to TIM4biz

Configure your iPECS eMG80, eMG800 or UCP to output SMDR call records to TIM4biz. Follow the PGM programming pages below and you'll have CDR flowing to the cloud in minutes.

SMDR configuration — iPECS eMG80, eMG800 & UCP

TIM4biz collects SMDR from Ericsson-LG iPECS systems. This guide covers the three PGM pages that must be set so your iPECS emits CDR in the expected format.

Before you start
  • This document is intended for certified Ericsson-LG telephone system technicians.
  • You will need the iPECS eMG80, eMG800 or UCP web administration password.
  • A web browser that can reach the iPECS administration interface.
Before you begin: create your TIM4biz trial account at account sign up and we'll send you the connection details for your CDR feed.
  1. Serial Port Selections (PGM 175). Configure the iPECS serial output so SMDR is sent over the chosen port. System data > Serial Port selections (PGM 175)
    Ericsson-LG iPECS eMG80 — PGM 175 Serial Port Selections
  2. SMDR Attributes (PGM 177). Make sure every SMDR attribute matches the screenshot exactly — TIM4biz depends on the standard SMDR record layout. System data > SMDR Attributes (PGM 177)
    Ericsson-LG iPECS eMG80 — PGM 177 SMDR Attributes
  3. ISDN Attributes (PGM 200). Set the ISDN line attributes as shown so Caller Line Identity (CLI) is included in the SMDR output. ISDN Line Data > ISDN Attributes (PGM 200)
    Ericsson-LG iPECS eMG80 — PGM 200 ISDN Attributes
  4. Finish up and test. Save all changes in the iPECS Administration web tool. Test that SMDR is being printed by making a few test calls — use the Cloud AP Show Buffer, or a serial terminal such as PuTTY. Dial both an outbound and an inbound call to confirm CLI is captured.
